Agroforestry's Impact

Todd S. Rosenstock published research findings together with other scientists under the main title »A Planetary Health Perspective on Agroforestry in Sub-Saharan Africa«, 2019. I was asked to translate his research results into a visual overview. Agroforestry systems imitate nature by intentionally combining trees, woody plants, crops and / or livestock in different spatial and temporal sequences in landscapes. The trees of the agroforestry change the microclimate, the water cycle, soil health and biodiversity with cascading effects on human health such as food security, disease and migration.
